“人生とは自分を見つけることではない。人生とは自分を創ることである”
とジョージ・バーナード・ショーはいいました。
彼が残した言葉が『YSTORE』を始めたきっかけでありテーマでもあります。

この言葉と出会う前の私は悩んでいました。
『自分とは何か？』
『人生の生きる意味はなんだろう？』
という悩みが頭から離れず、絶えず考えもがき苦しんでいました。
それは長く長く終わりのない真っ暗なトンネルを必死で歩いているような日々でした。
しかし、この言葉と出会い私の人生に光が差し込んできたんです。

自分で人生をCreateする。

自分の人生の意味を見出せず悩んでいた私の人生に光がさしてきました。
自分の人生の意味を探しもがくよりも、自分の人生の意味を、また自分の人生を自分で創ればいいんだ、と。
その日から私はどんな人生を創ろうかな？とワクワクが止まりませんでした。
私はこの言葉をこんなふうに解釈しました。

生きる意味＝自分をCreateする

自分の人生とはなんだろう？
生きる意味ってなんだろう？
と同じ悩みを抱えている人たちがたくさんいるのではないかと思ったんです。
今の私に出来ることは何か？と考えるようになりました。

そして私が出した答えが『YSTORE』です。

これから色々なことを学び、いろんな角度・視点から
自分の人生をCreateするお手伝いをモノづくりを通し、していきたいと思っています。

これから一緒に自分の人生をCreateしていきませんか？

George Bernard Shaw said.
His words are the reason why I started YSTORE and its theme.

Before I met these words, I was struggling with the question, "Who am I?
What is myself?
What is the meaning of life?
I was constantly thinking and struggling with these questions.
It was as if I was desperately walking through a long, long, endless, pitch-dark tunnel.
But then I came across these words, and a light shined into my life.

Create my own life.

I was struggling to find the meaning of my life, but now light has shined on my life.
Instead of struggling to find the meaning of my life, I realized that I could create the meaning of my life and my life by myself.
From that day on, I was so excited about what kind of life I was going to create. I could not stop being excited.
I interpreted these words as follows.

The meaning of life = Create myself

What is my life?
What is the meaning of life?
I thought that there must be many people who are having the same problems.
What can I do now? I began to think, "What can I do now?

And the answer I came up with was "YSTORE.

I am going to learn many things, and from various angles and perspectives
I would like to help people to create their own life through making things.
